Material:
The koziol brand relies on biocircular plastic. This is recycled from discarded sunflower and rapeseed oil from industry and the catering industry. The oils are collected and converted into plastic using a special recycling process. This is the first time these materials have been meaningfully reused; previously, they could only be thermally recycled. Furthermore, no additional agricultural land is required. The material is dishwasher-safe, food-safe, and fully recyclable.
The company and its production have been climate-neutral since 2021.
