Talcum powder is added to the lactic acid, causing it to crystallize. This creates a more heat-resistant PLA, namely C-PLA. C-PLA bioplastic products are suitable for everyday use, can be briefly heated in the microwave and washed in the dishwasher. The products are food safe and contain no artificial additives such as BPA and melamine.
