Repair and DIY Rewax set

Repair your wax wraps or even make them yourself? It’s easy with the Repair & DIY Set!

Repair:
With good care, vegan vegetable wax wraps last about 1 year. Due to regular use and cleaning, the wax wraps lose their liability with increasing duration. With the repair wax set, this can be easily restored.

Self made:
You only need 1 piece of the whole table (5 grams) of plant wax per 150 – 300 cm2 cotton cloth to make your own wax wraps. The exact amount depends on the weight of the cloth. To make your own vegan wax wraps, we recommend unprinted, very thin organic cotton without synthetic fibers.

Application:

In the oven:
Preheat the oven to 80°C. Place baking paper on the baking sheet and place the wax wrap or new cotton cloth to be repaired on it. Rub some vegetable wax mixture on the cloth with a grater, distribute evenly and bake for 5 minutes. Take the baking sheet out of the oven and spread the liquid wax evenly with a brush. Let it cool and you’re done.

With the iron:
Place the baking paper on a flat surface and place the wax wrap or cotton cloth on it. Rub some vegetable wax mixture onto the cloth with a grater, distribute evenly and cover with a second baking paper. Iron in the wax with an iron. Let it cool, remove the baking paper and you’re done.
