Whether for spices, kitchen utensils, sewing kits or other things: the spice box with handle made of oiled, solid oak is definitely a real eye-catcher and practical organizer.
Who does not know it – everything that is constantly needed and does not find space in drawers stands around on the worktop. Difficult to clean, badly organized and mostly not really nice! This is where the beautiful spice box from FAIRWERK comes into play. She organizes spices like salt, pepper, sauces, vinegar and oils, but also other things like sewing kits, pens and much more. Everything finds its place neatly and clearly in the oak boxes with handles.
The highlight – thanks to the handle, everything can be carried safely onto the dining table or outside at the same time and underneath it is cleaned cleanly with one wipe. A bottom layer of violan felt ensures that the box can be set down and moved silently and without scratches.
The design of the beautiful wooden box with handle comes from the design studio Piccant and the whole thing is produced at FAIRWERK or the Attl Foundation, a non-profit workshop for people with disabilities.

Today sustainability is more important than ever. Therefore, when purchasing and choosing materials, care should be taken to replace finite raw materials with renewable ones. Violan was born out of this consideration. The material consists entirely of plant residues and wood fibers, i.e. renewable raw materials. These are processed according to the latest technical standards, with particular emphasis on environmentally friendly processes. The fabric Violan is comparable to wool felt, but without animal substances and in a very high quality. As a result, Violan is ideal for vegans, the majority of allergy sufferers, as well as small children, as the material is completely harmless, biodegradable and non-toxic.
This beautiful piece is made in the Attl Foundation, a workshop for the disabled in Upper Bavaria. As early as 1873, the Attl Foundation in Wasserburg am Inn was commissioned to take care of the lives of people with disabilities. To this day, the foundation supports disabled people to shape their lives according to their own wishes. The opportunity to work is part of it. In the Inntal workshops, the production facility of the Attl Foundation, a few hundred residents can do demanding work and manufacture beautiful products from wood and other materials with a lot of love and care. How does it work? People with disabilities can do a lot, only often a little differently. The individual work steps in production are divided into many small work steps and thus simplified. Special devices create precision and create security. With these, many complex activities are possible even for severely disabled people. This creates self-confidence and joy in work.
